This is a fragment of the upper part of the blade and the handle. It is made of tubular bone. One surface is grinded, the other one is spongy. The greatest thickness of the spongy surface is 4 mm, the thickness of grinded area is 7 mm. A handle (according to remained face) is narrowed and divided from the blade by two holes. The holes are drilled from both sides and have a biconical shape with diameter 5 mm. The blade is concave-convex in cross section. Its edges are cut. In the center, there is a slot 2.5 mm depth and 1.5 mm width. It is filled with limescale. The slot is triangular in cross section.
On the convex front surface of the blade, 61 mm from the holes, there is an ornamented groove with depth and width 1 mm. On the side edges, along the slot edge, there are 15 notches which make a zigzag. One of the notches breaks the rhythmic alternation of lines.
