The item is a figurative image of a bear, made on a chip of obsidian. Along the contour, the item is treated with fine retouching which forms the outline of the figure - the emphasized heavy body of the animal, paws and head. The head was made with large flakes, special attention is paid to the design of the nose and mouth.
The item is made on a flake, the contour is decorated with marginal retouch. The head is treated with a flattening removal.
The item at the last stage of its treatment may have been treated with leather to smooth out the burrs (definition of P. V. Volkov).
