Bead

Item are rounded, flat in profile, with one hole in the center (beads). They are made of soft rock, including pyrophyllite (agalmatolite).

On the surface of the bead, there are traces of artificial red paint. The artificial composition is indicated by low levels of iron (12.35%), as well as the presence of aluminosilicate and organic additives.

Manufacturing technique

The initial material (pyrophyllite) was broken into small fragments. Then, at the second stage, a blank of the required shape was created. After that, in the third stage, the blank was ground and drilled.
