Bead

A large flat ivory bead of irregular shape (2 pcs)

Manufacturing technique

Presumably, an initial cylindrical shape of the blank was made with a push-plane. The bead plate-blanks were cutted with a knife which was used as a saw. There are some traces of cutting on the planes, and some traces on push-plane work are on the ends. The hole is made with a reamer and was drilled from both sides.
