Figured item

An 80-shaped item has a shape of two conjugate rings with through-holes. The item is flat. There are some traces of red paint on the surface. Their artificial origin is indicated by a low iron content and aluminosilicate additives.   


Manufacturing technique

The holes has an irregular shape on external and internal contours. The contours have a light smooth angularity. The perimeter and the surface of both planes have some traces of grinding. The hole of the small ring is made with double-sided manual drilling. The inner surface of the big hole has some traces of a planning knife work. The outer contour of the item was treated with the same knife and grinding.
