Pigment-containing materials (Hematite)

Hematite is large-lamellar aggregates with multidirectional leaflets, sometimes replaced by goethite. It belongs to the group of natural pigments that have a high iron content (20-50%). The paint with differend shades of red can be extracted from it. 


Manufacturing technique

Fragments with hematite were split off the pieces of initial raw materials. Fragments were grinded up and then they were used for the paint manufacturing.
