Pigment-containing materials (Malachite)

Malachite is a copper carbonate, in the cultural layer, it is a marker of oxidation zones. It was used for making green paint.


Manufacturing technique

Fragments with hematite were split off the pieces of initial raw materials. Fragments were grinded up and then they were used for the paint manufacturing.
