Bead blank

A trapezoidal blank for a small flat bead of light grayish-green talcite (or serpentinite). It is noted that one side is treated. In the center there is a hole of irregular shape.

Manufacturing technique

Work of a burin can be traced only on one surface. The ledge zone is treated with a different kinematics of motion in contrast to the general actions that flatten the surface. The hole is made with a sharp item, such as a knife. The hole is not treated.

Use-wear traces

There are traces of smoothing over the entire surface of the artifact. Its origin can be connected with a contact with soft elastic organic material.
