Needle case (flute-?)

An item of elongated proportions made of bone. The outer side is ornamented with inscribed triangles. On the opposite side, in the center, there is a hole. The surface of the item has some traces of bronze. 


Manufacturing technique

The item was cut with a knife from both sides. Then the blank was decorated with an ornament with a metal blade. The hole on the opposite side was probably made with the same tool. 


Use-wear traces

The surface has a light polishing.
