Button

A small button made on a flake of soft stone or calm shell. The item has a trapezoidal shape, it is convex-concave. The item was found in the composition of the funeral inventory, in the "bag", in the region of the hypochondrium, the top of the pelvic bones and lumbar vertebrae.

The surface is covered with ocher of red colour.

Manufacturing technique

A thining of the item was made with abrasion. The drilling is one-sided, stable. Two holes are symmetrical, made with one tool. The third hole is marked with a core point and slightly widened (obviously erroneous).

Use-wear traces

There are some traces of sewing between the holes. One end has some traces of light polishing.
